Ranchi, Feb 22: IIM Ranchi’s much-awaited cultural extravaganza, Rush 10.0 – The Soul Edition, began with great enthusiasm on Friday, bringing together students, performers, and competitors for a day filled with sports, creativity, and entertainment.
A Dynamic Start with Creativity and Competition
The day kicked off with The Big Ad Bang Hour, an ad-making competition that showcased participants’ innovative storytelling and marketing skills. Teams battled it out, presenting compelling advertisements before an enthusiastic audience.
At the same time, an intense volleyball match set the stage for an action-packed lineup of events, fuelling the competitive spirit.
Sports Take Centrestage
At noon, fast-paced table tennis matches kept the energy levels high, with players demonstrating remarkable skill and agility in thrilling rallies.
As the evening approached, futsal took over, with participants displaying exceptional teamwork and precision in a gripping showdown.

Meanwhile, the high-stakes Quintessence Case Competition challenged aspiring business leaders to solve real-world business problems. Participants developed innovative strategies and presented their solutions before a panel of experts.

The excitement peaked with the much-awaited Battle of Bands, where talented musical groups fiercely competed, captivating the audience with powerful vocals, instrumental mastery, and electrifying stage presence.

The highlight of Day 1 was a spectacular performance by Shor Band, which left the crowd spellbound. Their high-energy act had the audience dancing and cheering late into the night, providing the perfect conclusion to an exhilarating day.
