THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK
New Delhi, May 17: The Supreme Court has released a notification listing the benches that will operate during the upcoming “partial Court working days,” the new term for what was earlier known as the summer vacation, spanning from May 26 to July 13.

Regular judicial activity will resume from July 14, 2025.

Between May 26 and July 13, a total of 21 benches will hear matters during this interim period. The rebranding reflects a more structured approach to case hearings even during the court’s seasonal slowdown. Chief Justice of India BR Gavai has nominated benches for each week of this period, ensuring continuity in judicial proceedings.
Throughout this phase, the Registry will remain operational from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on all working days, excluding Saturdays (except July 12), Sundays, and public holidays. Non-clerical personnel will observe duty hours from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
