Ranchi, Jan 9: Alok Kumar Dubey, National President of the Public Schools and Children Welfare Association (PASWA), today expressed deep condolences over the tragic death of three children and an auto driver in a road accident in Gola, Ramgarh district, Jharkhand.

“We stand with the bereaved families in this unimaginable grief,” Dubey said. “We pray for peace for the departed souls and a speedy recovery for the injured children. This is a time to unite and support these families. May God grant them the strength to endure this loss.”

Dubey noted that Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari have expressed their sorrow over the incident and have instructed officials to work diligently to provide medical care to the injured children.

He further appealed to schools, urging them to prioritize the safety of children above all else and strictly adhere to government directives. Dubey called upon school managers, directors, and principals to ensure compliance with the government’s orders. “No risks should be taken when calling children to school,” he emphasized.

According to Dubey, the state government has ordered the closure of classes from KG to VIII. However, reports have emerged of some schools defying this order and summoning students based on their own decisions, which he labelled as “inappropriate” and a “violation of orders.”

“Due to the mistake of one or two people, the entire institution’s discipline comes under question. The safety of children must not be compromised under any circumstances,” Dubey stated.

He also warned that strict action would be taken against schools that fail to comply with the government’s instructions. “All school administrations are requested to cooperate with the government in ensuring the safety of children and to follow the issued guidelines strictly,” he added.
