Six Naxals killed in encounter with security forces in Telangana

Bhadradri Kothagudem, September 5: Police sources reported that six Naxals were killed, and two security personnel sustained injuries in an encounter with police in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana.

One of the injured security personnel is in critical condition and receiving treatment.

The police engaged in a gunfight with Naxals in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana, on Thursday morning.

Superintendent Rohit Raj of Bhadradri Kothagudem District said, “An encounter broke out between police and Maoists in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district this morning.”
