Lucknow, Jan 9: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav’s younger brother and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle, Rajpal Singh Yadav, has passed away. He breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
According to reports, Rajpal Yadav had been unwell for a long time and passed away during treatment early this morning at 4 AM. His last rites will be performed later today in his ancestral village, Saifai in Uttar Pradesh.
The Samajwadi Party has expressed grief over the passing of Rajpal Yadav.

“Very sad! Respected Netaji’s younger brother Shri Rajpal Yadav passed away this morning after a prolonged treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The last rites will be performed in Saifai this afternoon. May his soul rest in peace, heartfelt tribute!” the Samajwadi Party posted on X.

His passing has left the entire Samajwadi Party in mourning, with people visiting his residence since morning to pay their respects.
