Mumbai, September 18: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ has set a new benchmark in cinema by surpassing the lifetime earnings of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
Up to this week, the horror-comedy has racked up a remarkable Rs 586 crore at the Indian box office, demonstrating its immense popularity with audiences.

Directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the film continues to draw moviegoers even in its fifth week.
The film has demonstrated impressive consistency in daily collections. Over the weekend, it earned Rs 3.60 crore on Friday, Rs 5.55 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.85 crore on Sunday. This was followed by Rs 3.17 crore on Monday and Rs 2.65 crore on Tuesday.
In its second week alone, ‘Stree 2’ earned an impressive Rs 453.60 crore net.
