Mumbai, Feb 18: Dubai-based global logistics operator DP World on Tuesday announced the appointment of Suresh Ramani as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for its logistics division in the Subcontinent.
Ramani brings over 30 years of experience in diverse business functions, including sales, business development, product development, operations, and P&L management. His expertise spans across India and includes experience in the Middle East and African markets.

This extensive background in various industries will play a key role in furthering DP World’s logistics ambitions. As the global supply chain landscape continues to evolve, the company emphasized the importance of integrated logistics solutions for future success. Ramani’s role is seen as vital in supporting DP World’s commitment to building resilient and efficient supply chains.

DP World operates a robust network in India, with five container freight stations, three free trade zones in Nhava Sheva, Chennai, and Cochin, and seven rail-linked multimodal terminals. Additionally, it offers temperature-controlled warehousing and transport services, backed by over 100 rakes, 16,000 containers, and five million square feet of warehousing space.
