Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express to run five days a week

Jamshedpur, Dec 21: Good news for passengers heading for the South or those travelling to South for medical emergencies.

Keeping in view the demand of passengers, the South Eastern Railway has decided to increase the frequency of 18189/18190 Tatanagar-Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express from Bi-Weekly to five days a week.

18189 Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express journey commencing w.e.f January 1 from Tatanagar will run on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

18190 Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express journey commencing w.e.f January 4 from Ernakulam will run on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Garden Reach, the Kolkata-based headquarters of South Eastern Railway has issued a circular in this regard.

Various passenger bodies including Chhotanagpur Passengers Association welcomed the railway decision of increasing the frequency of the train between the two destinations.
