New Delhi, Dec 19: The Union government has sanctioned Rs 398 crore for 19 road development projects in Arunachal Pradesh for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari announced on Thursday that the projects, financed through the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), are intended to enhance last-mile connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh’s border areas, ensuring better access and supporting socio-economic development in the state’s remote regions.

Gadkari further stated that 190 projects, spanning 3,856 km and costing Rs 81,540 crore, are underway across the North-East. He added that these projects are set to be completed by September 2028.
