Dhanbad, Nov 14: Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, addressing an election rally in support of party candidate Aparna Sengupta at Nirsa Nayadanga Kali Mandir ground, accused leftist groups of exploiting coal workers in Dhanbad, the coal capital of India.
Yogi stated that the leftists blackmail coal laborers for personal gain and resort to violence, including murder, against anyone who opposes them.
“Communists get their work done by inciting conflict and blackmailing laborers. If anyone stands in their way, they are brutally murdered. The killing of Sushanto Sengupta (husband of Aparna Sengupta) is an example of this,” Yogi said.
BJP candidate Aparna Sengupta is facing a direct contest from Arup Chatterjee of the INDI Alliance (CPIML) for the Nirsa seat.

Yogi slams opposition parties for coal loot
The Uttar Pradesh CM also alleged that the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) are involved in the coal loot of Jharkhand. He referred to the opposition parties’ historical opposition to the creation of Jharkhand and criticized their current alliance.
“In 2000, when Jharkhand was being created, Congress and RJD opposed it. Now, they are sitting with JMM, looting Jharkhand’s coal and minerals. There is no place for loot in politics,” he stated.
“The leaders of these parties are the ‘sardars’ of looters. They have turned Jharkhand into a den of Naxals,” Yogi said.
Yogi Adityanath emphasized the BJP’s commitment to the development of Jharkhand, citing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s vision of a developed Jharkhand contributing to the overall growth of the nation.
He condemned the actions of the JMM, Congress, and RJD, accusing them of pushing the state into decline through corruption.
“It is necessary for Jharkhand to oust JMM, Congress, and RJD from power, who are involved in the loot,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath expressed confidence in BJP’s resurgence in Jharkhand, citing the results of the first phase of voting as an indicator of the party’s impending victory.
He said that, just as the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was rebuilt after 500 years, the BJP will return to power in Jharkhand after five years.
Issue of illegal immigration
Yogi also raised concerns about illegal immigration, alleging that Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are taking away the basic rights of citizens, including land, food, and shelter. He claimed that only the BJP could put an end to this problem.
“Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are capturing Roti, Beti, and Jamin (bread, daughter, and land). Only BJP can stop this,” he added.
