New Delhi, Dec 2: Renowned UPSC teacher Awadh Ojha joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday in New Delhi, in the presence of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and leader Manish Sisodia.

At the induction ceremony, Arvind Kejriwal formally welcomed Ojha into the party by draping him with the party scarf and cap.

Upon Ojha joining AAP, Kejriwal remarked, “Avadh Ojha ji is a well-known name in the field of education in this country who has inspired millions. With his joining, the party will grow stronger, and the education sector will benefit immensely. Our effort has always been to bring individuals excelling in areas like education and health into politics to maximise their impact.”

Awadh Ojha after joining AAP, said, “I thank Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia for allowing me to work for education through politics. Education is the essence that binds the family, society, and nation together.”

“Today, at the beginning of my political innings, I want to share this with you all if I had to choose between politics and education, I would definitely choose education. By joining politics, the development of education is my best objective,” he added.
