New Delhi, Feb 20: The new government of Delhi is being sworn in today. Along with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Kapil Mishra, Pankaj Singh, and Ravinder Indraj will also take the oath of office and secrecy.
Meanwhile, the BJP has announced the names of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Former Delhi BJP president Vijender Gupta will be the Assembly Speaker, while Mohan Singh Bisht will serve as the Deputy Speaker.

Mohan Singh Bisht, who hails from Uttarakhand, is a seven-time MLA. He won from the Mustafabad Assembly seat.
Vijender Gupta has been a three-time MLA from the Rohini Assembly seat. In this election, he defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s Pradeep Mittal by nearly 38,000 votes. In the previous Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta was the leader of the BJP legislature party.
