Jamshedpur, July 4:  XLRI, India’s oldest business school known for its commitment to academic achievement and comprehensive student development, is redefining business school standards with its campus in Delhi-NCR.

25% rise in female students from previous year

XLRI Delhi-NCR upholds the tradition of excellence in education, facilitated by seasoned faculty and flagship programs like the celebrated XLRI PGDM-BM.

One of the standout features of this year’s admissions is the significant increase in female representation, with women now constituting a substantial 30.7% of the student body, a remarkable 25% rise compared to the previous year.

48.7% non-engineers in PGDBM Batch of 2024-26

In terms of academic backgrounds, the incoming batch presents a balanced mix of engineering and non-engineering graduates.

Engineers remain the majority at 51.3 %, while non-engineers have seen a notable increase, comprising 48.7% of the cohort.

This diverse blend promises to enrich classroom discussions and enhance learning outcomes by bringing a wide range of perspectives and expertise.

40% students have one year professional experience

Moreover, the new batch brings a wealth of professional experience, underscoring its readiness for real-world challenges.

Over 40% of students have professional experience exceeding one year, and one in four students boasts over two years of work experience.

This blend of fresh insights and seasoned expertise ensures a dynamic exchange of ideas within XLRI Delhi-NCR’s vibrant academic community.

XLRI Delhi-NCR Director highlights diverse spectrum of backgrounds and experiences

Fr. Dr. K. S. Casimir, director of XLRI Delhi-NCR, expressed his enthusiasm for the incoming cohort, emphasizing, “As we begin a new academic year at XLRI Delhi-NCR, we are delighted to welcome the incoming Batch of 2024-26. This incoming class represents a diverse spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, demonstrating our dedication to diversity and academic performance. The significant increase in female representation is indicative of our dedication to gender inclusion in higher education, which is a positive development for Management Education. Furthermore, the balanced mix of academic backgrounds, including engineers and non-engineers, shows a dynamic learning atmosphere rich in varied viewpoints”.
