Jamshedpur, Nov 12: The city’s most-awaited literary event — the 39th Jamshedpur Book Fair — will be held from November 14 to 23 at Rabindra Bhavan in Sakchi.

Organized by The Tagore Society, the annual fair continues to serve as a gift to the people of Jamshedpur, celebrating books, culture, and community beyond barriers of caste, religion, or language.

Announcing the details at a press meet here today, General Secretary Ashis Chowdhury said the fair has become a cherished tradition, reflecting the city’s intellectual and cultural vibrancy. “Books remain the most reliable source of knowledge in an age dominated by digital media. We invite everyone, especially the youth, to reconnect with the joy of reading,” he added.
