Ranchi, Nov 3: The Cabinet meeting of Jharkhand took place on Friday evening at Project Bhavan Auditorium. Chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Cabinet approved 23 proposals.
Some of the proposals which received approval from the Cabinet are:-
1. Kantatoli and Siram Toli flyovers will be connected. Rs 213.35 crore was approved for this.
2. Launch of Chief Minister Ujjwal Jharkhand Scheme. Under this, electrification will be done in all the remaining houses and villages in the state. An approval of 1485.39 crores has been granted for this initiative.
3. Approval has been granted for the reinstatement of teachers who were declared ineligible between 1981 and 1984 and were serving in project schools under management committees.
4. Part-time teachers working in residential schools run under the Welfare Department have been given extension of one year.
