Former Navy chief Admiral L Ramdas passes away aged 90

THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

 

Hyderabad, March 15: Defence sources stated that Admiral (retired) L Ramdas, former chief of the Indian Navy, passed away on Friday at a military hospital in Hyderabad.

He was 90 years old.

They reported that his passing was attributed to age-related ailments.

From December 1990 to September 1993, Ramdas served as the Chief of the Indian Navy.

Along with his three daughters, Ramdas is survived by his wife, Lalita Ramdas.
