Dhanbad, March 18: Thousands of devotees of Jharkhand left with ‘Nishan’ for Khatu Dham Rajasthan from different stations to attend Shyam Falgun Mahotsav, which is scheduled to be celebrated March 20-21.
Though devotees in large numbers set out for Khatu Dam Rajasthan by different trains from Dhanbad, Bokaro, and Giridih, the massive zeal of followers was seen at Koderma Railway station. Devotees had set up Shyam Baba in their reserved train bogies and decorated them with flowers and balloons. The devotees, men and women, were seen performing Bhajan—Kirtan as they settled in their bogies.
One of the devotees of Koderma Arvind Choudhary said that Khatu Dham followers have reserved bogies in advance and decorated the generating point of trains.
The devotees who were leading the team in trains on the way for Khatu Dham from Koderma were Randhir Kapismei, Vikash Athghara, Joshi Kumar, Avinash Kapismei, Vikash Vaishyakiyar, Rishav Singh, Satyam Ekghara, Shubham Kumar, Manoj Mathur Seth, Pappu Singh, Sanjay Sharda, Bhola Singh, Sangeeta Jethwa, Seema Sahal, Sujata Joshi, Poonam Sahal, Madhu Singh, Babita Kapismei and Anshu Kapismei.

Nishan Shobha Yatra
Koderma Shyam Mandir Committee member Ayush Poddar said that the two-day March 20-21 Shyam Falgun Mahotsav would also be celebrated in the Koderma temple.
In collaboration with Shyam Nishan Mahila Mandal and Shyam Parivar, ‘Nishan Yatra’ will be taken out from Koderma railway station based Shy Kali Mandir. The Court of Shyam Baba would be decorated in a vehicle which, after crossing through different places, terminated at Addit Bangla-based Shyam Mandir.
In the evening, the team of Kolkata singer Riya Sharma, local artists Kailash Poddar, Ravi Dahima and others will perform in the programme.
On Sunday, a Nishan Yatra was also conducted, in which Kirtika Modi Shalini Seth, Amarlata Verma, Kamal Kishore Seth, Vijay Verma, and Yash Raj Seth of Koderma led the devotees.
