Jamshedpur, March 18: Four youths were killed and two others seriously injured as the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary trailer near Kanderbera on the NH-33 under Chandil thana area on Monday evening.
All the victims were residents of Adityapur and met the mishap while going on a joyride from Adityapur towards Chandil.
The mishap occurred along the Sanderbera village, about 10 km from Jamshedpur.

As the mishap took place, the residents called an ambulance and rushed all the victims to the MGM Medical College Hospital, where the four of them were declared as brought dead.
Whereas the identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained, the bodies of three of the dead were identified as Navnit Raj, Suraj Kumar and Swatantra Mishra.
According to an eyewitness account, the car was travelling at breakneck speed, and the mishap occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
It may be mentioned here that two months ago, six youths of Adityapur were killed as the car they were travelling in rammed into an electric pole at the Circuit House area in Bistupur.
