Dhanbad, May 6: Robo Soccer stole the show in BIT Sindri’s three-day annual Tech Udbhav which concluded on Sunday evening amidst a series of innovations and creativity showcased by the techies.

Though techies displayed their outstanding innovations and creativity of skills such as cloak Coding, Minefield Rescue and others, Robo Soccer impressed the experts most during the festival.

“Tech Mahotsab left behind a legacy of collaboration, learning and technology innovation. The event gave a platform for techies not only to showcase their innovative ideas and skills but also how to develop a network, share knowledge and foster a sense of camaraderie within the tech community,”  said one of the members of the Institution of  Electronics and  Telecommunication Engineering (IETE) forum of  BIT Sindri students which hosted the event.

Tech Udbhav ‘24’ was part of a three-day Tech Mahotsav organized by IETE Forum which kicked start on May 3.

Robot-building skills

The highlight of the event was Robo Soccer. Participants showed off their robot-building skills and competed with each –other’s robots.

Quiz contest

“Besides it, Tech Trivia, a quiz contest, was also held.  The best teams qualified for the next round. Bots also had a challenge in minefield rescue, tackling tricky followed by cyber battleground for cyber security buffs.

Director Pankaj Rai, Career Development Centre  (CDC)  chairman Dr Ghanshyam, Prof. Dr Vineet Shekhar, Prof. Rajesh Narayan Deo, Prof. S.C. Dutta, and Prof. Imetyaz Ahmad graced the festival. They encouraged the techies for their outstanding innovations.

Earlier on the second day Cloak Coding competition was organized in which participant techies were given pen and paper for a quiz in the first round.
