Jamshedpur, Nov 11: Mystery shrouds the death of a middle-aged man whose body was found hanging from a tree near Jamshedpur Workers College under the Mango thana area on Saturday.
The deceased who was partially bare body is yet to be identified causing the police to ponder the reason behind the death.
The tree which the body was hanging from is located along the Subernarekha River and is considered to be an isolated place.

The police had brought down the body from the tree and let it lie on the spot, expecting that the deceased might be a local guy and somebody would identify it. But despite lapses of hours together and so many inquisitive people visiting the spot no one did identify it.
The police ultimately shifted the body to the MGM Medical College mortuary where it will be kept for 72 hours before the postmortem and disposal.
Mango thana OC, Vinay Kumar said though there was no mark of injury on the body, the murder angle could not be ruled out.
“It may be either a case of suicide or murder. The cause of death will be known in the autopsy only. And if the body is identified, then the reason behind the death will be further clear,” said Vinay Kumar while talking to The Jharkhand Story.
