Jamshedpur, June 13: In a significant step towards securing justice for the victims of the 1984 Sikh riots, Harjeet Singh Dhami, a representative from the victim families of Ramgarh and Hazaribag, has handed over a list of 12 victims to Satnam Singh Gambhir, the East India President of the All India Sikh Students Federation. The handover took place today in Jamshedpur, following directives from the Jharkhand High Court.

The court had earlier instructed petitioner Satnam Singh Gambhir to provide a district-wise breakdown of victims who are yet to receive compensation. In compliance with this directive, the list of 12 victims from Hazaribagh and Ramgarh was compiled and delivered.
