18,034 youth to get job offer letters on Jharkhand’s birthday tomorrow

Ranchi, Nov. 14: The State government will hand over job offer letters to more than 18,034 youth in the employment fair organized by the Labour Department at Morhabadi ground during the Jharkhand statehood day tomorrow.

Governor C P Radhakrishnan will be the chief guest at the function which will begin at 2 pm and run for one and a half hours.

Besides, an assistance amount of Rs 261 crore will be distributed to 5,55,652 adolescent girls for the year 2023-24 under the Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, whereas around Rs 2 crore prize money will be distributed among about 70 players who have performed excellently at the international and national level.

According to a government press release,  the third phase of Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapki Dwar will be launched in the presence of Governor Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Ministers.

On the occasion of the Foundation Day, a total of 229 schemes worth Rs 1714.44 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone of a total of 677 schemes worth Rs 5328.30 crore will be laid. The ceremony will start at 2 pm and end at 3:30 pm.

New schemes and policies will be launched

The Governor and the Chief Minister will launch schemes and policies on State Foundation Day. The policies to be launched include Jharkhand Start-up Policy, 2023, Jharkhand MSME Promotion Policy, 2023, Jharkhand Export Policy, 2023 and Jharkhand IT, Data Centre and BPO Investment Promotion Policy, 2023. Abua Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana will also be started.
