Jamshedpur, July 13: If the forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre is any indication, isolated places in southern and central Jharkhand are expected to witness heavy rainfall today.
The Met office also predicted thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places over the state today.
According to a Met bulletin issued this morning, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state.

The bulletin also suggested a slight fall in day temperature during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain was observed at many places during the past 48 hours. Some places in Palamu also experienced heavy rain.
As of today, the monsoon’s rain deficit stood at 49 per cent.
