Jamshedpur, July 25: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of light to moderate rain at many places over Jharkhand during the next 72 hours.
No alerts of heavy rain or thundershowers activity have been issued for the next three days.
Weathermen said there would also be no significant changes in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the next three to four days.

The cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and the neighbourhood was extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level for the past 24 hours was passing through Bikaner, Sikar, Gwalior, Sidhi, Daltonganj, Canning and thence east-southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal.
Statistics showed that the current rain deficit of Jharkhand stood at 48 %.
Light to moderate rain was observed at most places over the state while heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in the past 48 hours.
Monsoon activity was normal over the state in the past two days.
