Jharkhand govt slashes air ambulance service rates by 50 per cent

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today attended the 75th Van Mahotsav-2024 organized by the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department at the Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology, Gadhkhatanga, Ranchi.

Ranchi, August 7: The Jharkhand government slashed the current rates of air ambulance service on Wednesday. The service was launched in April last year.

It was decided in a cabinet meeting presided by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that the one-way fare from Ranchi to New Delhi will now be Rs 3.10 lakh instead of Rs 5 lakhs.

Similarly, the new fare for Mumbai for Ranchi will be Rs 4 lakh instead of Rs 7 lakhs, Rs 3.30 lakhs (earlier fare Rs 8 lakhs) for Chennai, Rs 1 lakh (earlier fare Rs 3 lakhs) for Kolkata, Rs 2.5 lakhs (earlier Rs 7 lakhs) for Hyderabad, Rs 1.1 lakh (earlier Rs 3.3 lakhs) for Varanasi, Rs 2 lakhs (earlier Rs 5 lakhs) for Lucknow and Rs 3.3 lakhs (earlier Rs 8 lakhs) for Tirupati.

“The rate has been reduced so that more and more people avail this air ambulance service facility,” she added.

 

★ Approval was given to appoint child constables who do not have the prescribed physical and medical qualifications for appointment from child constable to the post of general constable on other posts.

★ While constituting the Sub-Divisional Prosecution Office at Nagar Untari in Garhwa District and Chandil in Saraikela-Kharsawan in Jharkhand State, approval was given for the creation of posts of Additional/Assistant Public Prosecutors and non-gazetted employees for the conduct of prosecution work.

★ Approval was given to increase the honorarium payable to Manki, Parganait, Munda, Gram Pradhan, Dakuwa, Paranik, Jogmanjhi, Kudam Nayaki, Nayaki, Godait, Mool Raiyat, Rural Diuri (Priest), Padha Raja, Pradhan of Gram Sabha, Ghatwal and Tavedar.

★ Approval was given for the implementation and guidelines of the Chief Minister’s Hospital Rejuvenation Scheme.

★ Approval was given to amend the “Management, Enrollment and Examination Conduct Rules, 2023 of Nursing Institutions under the State of Jharkhand”.

★ Approval was given to dismiss Dr Neelam Das, Specialist Medical Officer (Pathology), Sadar Hospital, Khunti from service.

★ Approval was given to the guidelines for the use of funds earned by government medical institutions under the Chief Minister Abua Health Scheme and Ayushman Bharat Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.

★ Approval was given for the creation of necessary posts of academic cadre as per the National Medical Commission norms for the establishment of medical colleges for 100-100 MBBS seats in Koderma and Chaibasa districts of the state under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (Phase-2).

★ Approval was given for amendment in Jharkhand Statistics Service Rules, 2011.

★ Approval was given to create 1315 posts of Head Forest Guard as per the provisions of Jharkhand State Subordinate Forest Area Worker Cadre Rules-2014 by surrendering 1315 posts out of a total sanctioned 3883 posts of Forest Guard under the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, Jharkhand.
