Dhanbad, Aug 8: Four medical officers, including Dr Ramdeo Paswan, were promoted to the post of civil surgeon (CS) in the second list of transfers issued by the state government.
Besides this, three deputy director-rank health officers have also been promoted as directors.
Dr Ramdeo Paswan to be CS in Simdega
As per the transfer notification issued by Anand Kumar Sinha undersecretary of the state government, Dumka medical officer Dr Ramdeo Paswan has been transferred as civil surgeon of Simdega.
Last year, Dr Paswan was demoted from the post of civil surgeon Sahibganj and sent Dumka as a simple medical officer. But after one year he was promoted again.
Besides Dr Paswan, the additional chief medical officer (ACMO) of Garhwa district Dr Naval Kumar has also been promoted to CS of Gumla. Dr Anand Mohan Soren, ACMO Sahibganj, has been made CS Jamtara) Barharwa medical officer Praveen Kumar Santhalia has been promoted to civil surgeon Sahebganj.

Dr Sahir Pal made CS of Jamshedpur
West Singhbhum CS Dr Sahir Pal has been transferred to East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur) as CS while Bokaro CS Dr Dinesh Kumar has been transferred to Chatra as a civil surgeon. Civil surgeon Jamtara has been transferred to CS, Bokaro district.
4 deputy directors promoted as directors
Four deputy director-rank health services officers have been promoted to director in the transfer notification.
Deputy director D Virendra Prasad Singh has been promoted to director of family welfare, planning and administration. Deputy director Dr Shashi Prakash Sharma has been promoted to the post of director of communicable disease and research while deputy director Chandra Prakash Choudhary has been made director of health services.
Deputy director Dr Raghvendra Narayan Sharma has been posted as state Reproductive Child Health (RCH) officer.
Upgradation of district officers
The medical officer of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Hospital, Jamshedpur Dr Pankaj Kumar has been made State Blind Control officer. Medical officer Dr Kamlesh Kumar has been made state tuberculosis officer Namkum.
