New Delhi, August 17: The Lok Sabha Secretariat in a notification announced the new constituents of five Parliamentary Committees, including the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which is tasked with reviewing government expenditures.
In addition to the PAC, the chairpersons for the Committee on Public Undertakings, Committee on Estimates, Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, were also appointed.

BJP MP from Madhya Pradesh’s Satna, Ganesh Singh, has been designated as the chairperson of the Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes.
Dr. Faggan Singh Kulaste, BJP Lok Sabha MP from Mandla constituency, has been named the chairperson of the Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Baijyant Panda, BJP Lok Sabha MP from Kendrapara in Odisha, has been designated as the chairperson of the Committee on Public Undertakings.
Senior Congress MP KC Venugopal has been named the chairperson of the Committee on Public Accounts.
BJP MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal has been named the chairperson of the Committee on Estimates.
