AAP MP Raghav Chadha addressed the media, stating, “The BJP is trying to tarnish the image of our party and Chief Arvind Kejriwal by posting ridiculous content on social media. They are trying to do character assassination. We have appealed to the Election Commission to take action against BJP. There must be some decorum even in politics. My request to the BJP would be to stop the character assassination of people. If you want to fight Kejriwal then fight in the election field. We have explained in detail in the complaint which section of the law has been violated by the BJP on social media. We are sure EC will take appropriate action.”

AAP lodged a complaint regarding a video posted on November 5 by BJP’s official social media accounts in Delhi, which ridiculed Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP has accused the BJP of breaching the People Representation Act and the Model Code of Conduct.

The Election Commission of India has issued a prohibition on the release or promotion of exit poll results from November 7 until the evening of November 30, in light of the approaching Assembly elections in five states.

As per the Election Commission, the restriction will be in place from 7 am on November 7 until 6:30 pm on November 30.
