Jamshedpur, Sept 18: Tata Steel Zoological Park (TSZP) announced public display of newly arrived two plain Zebras.
The newly arrived Zebras were released in a make shift enclosure by Shaba Alam Ansari, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Jamshedpur last evening adding to the park’s diverse wildlife collection and promise to captivate visitors with their striking appearance and lively behaviour.
The event also witnessed release of various exotic birds, including the vibrant Blue and Yellow Macaw, Galah Cockatoo, and Orange Winged to allowing visitors to experience the wonders of avian diversity and beauty.

These beautiful creatures are set to enhance the educational and recreational experiences for wildlife enthusiasts and common people visiting here.
During the event, DFO Shaba Alam Ansari highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and encouraged the citizens of Jamshedpur to actively participate in green initiatives.
To mark the occasion, he also planted a tree as part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” activity under the campaign “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiated by the Union Ministry of the Environment, Forests and Climate Change, which aims to promote tree plantation and environmental sustainability.
Secretary of the zoo Captain Amitabh expressed gratitude to the DFO and emphasized TSZP’s dedication to both wildlife conservation and fostering a deeper connection between people and nature.
The newly arrived zebras and exotic birds will be available for public view from today.
