Jamshedpur, Oct 5: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted light rain in isolated parts of Jharkhand today.
According to weathermen, some places would also witness thundershower activity due to rising heat and humidity.
Under the influence of upper air circulation over southwest Bangladesh, a low-pressure area has formed over north Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh and West Bengal with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting south-westwards with height.

A trough runs from northeast Uttar Pradesh to the above cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh and adjoining sub-Himalayan West Bengal across Bihar at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.
The line of withdrawal of south-west monsoon continues to passthrough 30.8°N/81.2°E, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shivpuri, Kota, Udaipur, Deesa, Surendranagar, Junagarh and 21°N/70°E.
