Jharkhand: Now, ED summons Sahibganj SP on November 28

Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today sent a second summons to Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam after he did not appear for questioning on Wednesday in response to the first summons issued on November 10. Now, he has been asked to appear before the ED on November 28.

The ED wants to question him on his role in influencing Bijay Hansda, a witness of the agency in the mining scam in Sahibganj. He is said to have arranged flight tickets for the ED witness.

According to sources, Naushad Alam has sent a letter to ED asking for another date for his appearance.
