Hamirpur, Nov 24: Union Minister Anurag Thakur stated on Friday that the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ is set to cover approximately 2.7 lakh panchayats across the nation.

Addressing the media, Anurag Thakur stated, “On November 15, on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, in the 68 janjatiya (tribals) districts, PM Modi marked the beginning of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Now this yatra will travel to around 2.7 lakh panchayats in the country where free medical camps will be organised…Through this yatra, people will be made aware of the central government policies and get last-mile delivery…”

Thakur, in his media statement, conveyed that as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ there is a pledge to advance India into a developed nation within the upcoming 25 years.

Anurag Thakur had earlier attended the district Bharatiya Janata Party meeting on the yatra and had given the party leaders the required directives to ensure its success.

Thakur stated that details about the Central Government’s initiatives will reach every citizen, ensuring the success of this endeavour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the campaign on November 15 in Khunti, Jharkhand, and it gained momentum after being implemented in the isolated villages of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir.
