Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Loyola School, Jamshedpur hosted a career counselling session in collaboration with the Loyola Alumni Association and Samarthya XLRI, offering classes 11 and 12 insights into diverse career paths aligned with 21st-century skills.

The event opened with a prayer and welcome address by Father Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, setting an inspiring tone for the day.
The session brought together 13 experts from various fields, each delivering guidance to enhance students’ understanding of potential career prospects. The program was skillfully moderated by alumnus Ronald D’Costa, who facilitated an engaging and informative experience for all participants.

The experts represented a wide range of industries, offering insights into fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning by Ishan Ahuja, Sustainability and Waste Management by Gaurav Anand, Public Sector Undertakings and UPSC by Shubham Singh, Media Communication by Manisha Singhal and Prabhakar Mani, Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking by Afrin Pathan, Social Entrepreneurship by Govind Goyal, Hotel Management by Swaroop Chakravorty, Fund Management and Stock Market by Shubham Pasari, Archaeology by Archit Bhatt, Sports Management by Mukul Chaudhary, International Media and Advertisement by Partha Kabi, and Adventure Sports by Ashish Saxena.
Students participated in breakout sessions, allowing them to directly engage with experts and ask questions relevant to their career interests.
The enriching program concluded with a commitment to follow-up sessions, including workshops and masterclasses, aimed at supporting students as they explore their career paths. This collaborative event marked a significant step in empowering the next generation to make informed career choices.
