“I have served the Congress party and held different posts for the past 27 years. But, there is no respect left for dedicated workers in the party. So, I decided to join the BJP,” stated Sinha after joining BJP.

Sinha stated that he has stepped down from all positions within the Congress party.
The Assam chief minister stated that the Congress party overlooks the importance of its workers who have committed their lives to the party.
He mentioned that Sinha’s experience would be leveraged at the state level to bolster the party and secure electoral victories.
