Jharkhand News: DPS Ranchi holds felicitation ceremony of scholars

DPS Ranchi on Tuesday organised a grand Felicitation Ceremony to honour the academic excellence of its students for the session 2023-2024. The event, attended by proud parents, was graced by distinguished guests, A.K. Mistry, CGM (Iron), RDCIS, S.M. Omair, Manager, CM School of Excellence and Former Vice Principal, DPS Ranchi, Prabhat Kumar, IG, Intelligence and Special Branch and Sumant Singh, DIG, Eastern Sector, CISF who applauded the school’s commitment to nurturing academic brilliance.

The ceremony commenced with a soulful rendition of the Welcome Song, followed by the presentation of saplings to the Chief Guests by Principal Dr. R.K. Jha.

The atmosphere was one of pride and celebration as 80 students from Classes IX, X, XI and XII were recognized for their persistent, outstanding academic performance over the years. The students were felicitated with Scholar Badges, Scholar Ties, Scholar Blazers and Certificates.

Speaking on the occasion, A.K. Mistry, CGM (Iron), RDCIS, said, “Excellence is not a one-time achievement but a habit formed through dedication and hard work. These young scholars are an inspiration to all.”

S.M. Omair, Manager, CM School of Excellence and Former Vice Principal, DPS Ranchi, said, “The pursuit of knowledge and the consistent drive to better oneself is what sets apart the leaders of tomorrow. DPS Ranchi is shaping the future with its brilliant scholars.”

Prabhat Kumar, IG, Intelligence and Special Branch expressed his delight at witnessing the outstanding results of the students.

Sumant Singh, DIG, Eastern Sector, CISF, said, “The values of discipline and perseverance reflected in these students’ accomplishments will serve as a strong foundation for their future success.”

Principal, Dr. R.K. Jha, congratulated the students and emphasized the school’s role in fostering an environment conducive to academic growth. “At DPS Ranchi, we believe in the holistic development of our students. These awards are a testament to their hard work and the unwavering support of their teachers and parents. We are proud to celebrate their success today, and we look forward to even greater achievements in the future,” he said.

The programme culminated with a vote of thanks delivered by Head Girl Patruni Yamini.
