Deoghar, Nov 29: Deoghar’s Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) has set a new benchmark for state schools with the introduction of modern facilities that rival those of corporate educational institutions. The district administration recently upgraded the school’s infrastructure, introducing modernised dining tables, washbasins, and beautifully renovated dining halls.
A parent of a student praised the improvements, saying, “Not to speak of government schools, even private boarding institutions in Jharkhand do not have such modernised facilities available.”
Improved dining facilities
Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sagar shared that the initiative aims to enhance the dining experience for female students, ensuring a cleaner and more hygienic environment. He added that these upgrades will provide students with a more comfortable and enjoyable dining experience, helping to maintain a positive and healthy daily routine.
“Our priority is to provide the best facilities for students so that they can excel not only in academics but in every aspect of life. By enhancing the infrastructure, we are ensuring their holistic development,” said Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sagar.
