Dantewada, Nov 27: In the Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, at least 14 vehicles and machines involved in construction activities were set on fire by suspected Naxals on Monday, police stated.
Incident happened at 1:30 am
According to Additional Superintendent of Police, Dantewada, RK Burman, the incident happened at Bangali Camp, which is within the jurisdiction of Bhansi Police Station, at around 1:30 am.

25-30 Naxals committed the incident
“Four Hyvas, four pickups, one earth moving machine (JCB), one crane, 1 sifter truck, two water tankers, and one mixer vehicle were torched by the Naxals,” the Additional SP Burman stated.
“There were almost 25-30 naxals, most of them dressed as villagers. After setting the vehicles on fire all of them fled. Soon After receiving the information, the police force reached the spot and doused the fire “, the senior police officer stated.

No person harmed, search on
He additionally said that there had been no reports of any injuries resulting from the incident.
“Police search continues in the area,” he added.
