Jamshedpur, Dec 13: Cold wave debuted in Jharkhand with Sub-10 chill prevailing in most places today.
Met statistics suggested plummeting minimum temperature in most of the districts.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 9.6 degrees.
The minimum temperature plummeted to 7.9 degrees Celsius in Daltonganj while Bokaro today recorded a minimum temperature of 8.1 degrees Celsius.
Deoghar, Dhanbad, Hazaribag and Pakur today recorded a minimum temperature of around 8 degrees Celsius.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
Only crisp and cold north-westerly wind was prevailing over the state.
According to a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre, isolated cold wave conditions would prevail over western parts and some districts of north-eastern parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
