Dhanbad, Dec 18: Principal District and Sessions Judge, Virendra Kumar Tiwari, launched a 90-day ‘Legal Literacy and Awareness Campaign’ for the people of Dhanbad today.

The initiative, directed by the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JSLSA), aims to spread legal awareness across the district.

Prabhat Pheri marks start of campaign

The campaign kicked off with a Prabhat Pheri in the morning, led by Judge Tiwari, in which District and Sessions Judge Rajnikant Pathak, Principal Judge of the Family Court T. Hassan, and other senior judicial authorities participated.

The procession started from the Dhanbad Court, passed through City Centre, and returned to the court.

The group paid homage to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and also staged a Nukkad Natak to raise awareness about legal issues.
