Daltonganj, Jan 23: At the Swasthya Mela held on Untari Road, Palamu, a dedicated team from the Bishrampur community health centre conducted an ECG (Electrocardiogram) on-site.

Naresh Ram, a 60-year-old mason, had complaints about uneasiness and sought treatment, and under the attentive care of Civil Surgeon Dr. Anil Kumar, the ECG machine was promptly arranged to ensure he received the necessary medical attention.

Dr Anil Kumar said, “I advised Dr Rajinder Kumar to arrange the ECG machine from one health hub registered under the Clinical Establishment Act.”

The ECG machine was brought in and there under the supervision of the Civil Surgeon Dr Anil Kumar and Dr Rajinder Kumar, medical officer in charge of the community health centre of Bishrampur, Naresh Ram’s ECG was done which was found within normal limits.

Children blowing balloons at the Swasthya Mela

Never in the history of the Swasthya Mela, there has ever been performed ECG test as it was done today.

The Civil Surgeon has been hailed for his all-out medical efforts for the poor man.

There was one more good thing done here. Dr Rajinder Kumar and his team offered balloons to the children who had come to the Swasthya Mela with their parents where they were asked to blow the balloons.

The children did it too well. They were given chocolates. It was a great fun and joy for the children. The Swasthya Mela became a sportive event for the children.

Commenting on this the Civil Surgeon Dr Anil Kumar said blowing balloons is a kind of exercise for the lungs of the children and they showed their lungs are strong enough in times like this when there is a scare of the HMPV.
