Jamshedpur, Jan 27: Kids International School hosted its much-anticipated Annual Sports Festival 2024-25 today at the Kapali Campus. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration.
The chief guest for the occasion was Syed Rashid Zafar, the School Director, accompanied by SI Sonu Kumar, Incharge of Kapali Police Station. The festival began with vibrant and colourful performances, including the Umbrella Drill by Senior KG and Class 1, the Ruffles Drill by Classes 2 and 3, the Butterfly Drill by Classes 4, 5, and 6, and the Flower Drill by Kapali Campus students.

Outstanding skills and sportsmanship
The athletes demonstrated outstanding skills and sportsmanship. Meezan secured the Senior Boys Athlete title, while Shaista Parveen earned the Senior Girls Athlete title. In the junior category, Abrar Ahmad and Ayesha Naaz were recognized as the Best Junior Athletes. The Pom-Pom Drill was appreciated for its excellent execution, and the house awards went to Unity House for Best Senior House and Courage House for Best Junior House, while Harmony House won the Best March Past title.
During the event, Shaista Parveen (Senior) and Ashifa Shahid (Junior) were announced as the Sports Captains for the year.
The festival featured a variety of engaging activities for students and parents alike, including the Frog Race, Stick the Stick Balloon, Army Race, Hulahoop Race, and Pyramid Race. Senior students competed in challenging events such as the 100m, 200m, and 300m baton races, hurdle races, cricket, football, karate, and badminton.
A distinguished jury panel, comprising Sarju Ram, Haya Subi, Rohit Kumar Malakar, Pritam Kumar, and Jai Mukhi, evaluated the participants and ensured fair competition. Sports Incharge Prashant Marnuri played a key role in coordinating the event.
Throughout the day, anchors Yasir and Saleha kept the audience entertained and engaged, adding to the event’s lively atmosphere. The festival concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Principal Rukhsar Ayesha, marking the end of a successful and spirited Sports Festival.
