Jamshedpur, Jan 28: The minimum temperature dropped further across Jharkhand due to the dominating north-westerly currents.
The chill made a comeback since yesterday sending shivers among residents of most districts.
According to statistics, the minimum temperature plummeted to 4.8 degrees Celsius in Chatra. Chatra was the coldest place in the state today. The next to follow was Garhwa which shivered at 5.7 degrees Celsius today.

The minimum temperature dropped to 7.6 degrees Celsius in Ranchi today while Jamshedpur today recorded a night reading of 10 degrees Celsius.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.1 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 7.6 degrees.

The Celsius fell to 6.2 degrees Celsius in Dhanbad today while Khunti today recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the minimum temperature in other districts across Jharkhand witnessed a downward trend today.
Statistics revealed that most places across Jharkhand today recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.
“The sub-10 chill has returned to Jharkhand and it is going to stay for another 48 hours or so,” said a weather analyst at Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
