Ranchi, Feb 15: The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has called for a two-day nationwide strike on March 24-25, demanding the implementation of nine pending issues, including the regularization of temporary employees and a five-day work week.

Protest plans leading up to strike

Announcing the protest schedule, UFBU joint coordinators ML Singh and Manish Singh from Jharkhand stated that bank employees will stage demonstrations on February 21 and begin wearing protest badges from February 28.

If demands remain unfulfilled, a sit-in protest will be held in front of Parliament in New Delhi on March 3, followed by rallies across the country on March 21.
