Jamshedpur, April 28: Dipankar Santra, a second-semester B.Com student at Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, successfully participated in the 9th Netaji Subhas State Games.
The sporting event was organized by the Bengal Olympic Association in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of West Bengal, from April 7 to April 10 in Malda, West Bengal.
A resident of Golmuri Garabasa, Dipankar shared that he has been associated with the Sports Training Center of Bolpur SAI Center in West Bengal since 2019.

His coach, Harendra Singh, a recipient of the prestigious Dronacharya Award, is also the head of the Jharkhand Archery Association.
Dipankar aims to represent Sona Devi University in archery in the upcoming Indian University Games this year.
Following this, his goal is to compete in the National Archery Championship. Through his achievements in archery, Dipankar aspires to bring glory to Jharkhand on the national and international stage.
