Election Commission hosts CEOs meet to streamline electoral rolls

New Delhi, May 23: In a concerted push to enhance the accuracy of electoral rolls ahead of upcoming polls, the Election Commission of India (ECI) convened a two-day national conference of Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in New Delhi on Friday.

The high-level event, led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar along with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, aimed to drive forward the use of technological tools in election planning and execution.

Top electoral officials from across the country gathered to deliberate on best practices, technological integration, and strategic planning to improve the integrity and efficiency of the electoral process.

The inaugural session was followed by an interactive dialogue between the commission and the participants to foster collaborative ideas and address implementation challenges.
