Jharkhand News: Dhanbad Public School crowned overall champions in CBSE East Zone Yogasan

Dhanbad, August 9: Dhanbad Public School has emerged as the overall champion in the CBSE East Zone Yogasan Competition, which concluded at Scholar’s High School, Ramgarh.

Over the three-day event, the school’s 30-member contingent put on an impressive performance, securing a total of 14 medals – 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.

Vivekanand Public School, Ranchi, and Army Public School, Lucknow, claimed second and third places respectively. The East Zone CBSE schools competition includes participants from Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Coach Shashikant Pandey proudly noted that this marks the fifth consecutive year that Dhanbad Public School has taken the overall title. With this victory, the school has now qualified for the national championship.

School chairman Kailash Prasad Agrawala, along with the principal and senior teachers, congratulated the players on their outstanding achievement.
