Jamshedpur, August 13: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) hosted the 6th Jharkhand Manufacturing Conclave with the theme “Future-Ready Manufacturing: Building Sustainable, Smart & Inclusive Industrial Ecosystems.”

Industry leaders, policymakers, and experts gathered to discuss how Industry 4.0, sustainability, and inclusion can drive Jharkhand’s industrial transformation.

Inaugurating the session, Diloo Bipin Parikh, Vice Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council, stressed the need for a “triple transformation” — digital, green, and inclusive — to make “Made in Jharkhand” a global symbol of innovation and quality.

Ajitesh Monga, Convenor, CII Jharkhand Manufacturing Panel, highlighted turning sustainable practices into competitive advantages and boosting productivity through digital tools.

Sunil Tiwari, Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council, underlined the state’s strong manufacturing base, contributing over Rs 9 lakh crore to GVA and producing 20–25% of India’s steel.

He called for deeper collaboration between large companies and MSMEs to strengthen competitiveness.

Speakers including Ranjot Singh, Col. Rohit Gupta, and Shashank Shekhar, emphasized the role of technology adoption, defence–industry partnerships, and workforce inclusivity in building resilient, future-ready ecosystems.
