Ranchi, August 22: The Jharkhand Assembly’s monsoon session began today.
On the first day, Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav demanded that Dishom Guru Shibu Soren be conferred with the Bharat Ratna.

He urged that a resolution be passed in the Assembly and sent to the Government of India.
He also called for Guruji’s life struggles and biography to be included in the academic curriculum.
