Bokaro, Sept 6: In a powerful blend of civic duty and judicial leadership, Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, along with Justice Ananda Sen, took the extraordinary step of donating blood at a camp organised by the District Legal Services Authority and the Red Cross Society in Bokaro.
The event also saw the inauguration of a newly constructed Labour Court building at Nyaya Sadan auditorium.

A Human-Interest Moment
In a touching moment that resonated beyond formal ceremony, Chief Justice Chauhan personally rolled up his sleeve to donate blood—a gesture not just symbolic, but deeply human, signalling compassion reaching beyond the bench into the heart of public welfare. Justice Ananda Sen followed, echoing that message of solidarity and service.
The camp, supported by judicial officers, lawyers, social workers, and donor volunteers, included health check-ups conducted by the Red Cross Society, further highlighting the unity between legal institutions and community car
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Justice Chauhan, joined by Justices Ananda Sen and Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Principal District & Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra, Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, and Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh. The dignitaries also formally inaugurated the new Labour Court building.
