Chennai, Sept 16: In a major push towards its 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly poll preparations, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convened a high-level strategy meeting in Chennai on Tuesday.
The session centered on drawing up election strategies, expanding the party’s grassroots base, and reviewing organisational issues in the state.

The meeting was presided over by BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh, with key leaders including National Secretary Arvind Menon, National Co-Incharge for Tamil Nadu Sudhakar Reddy, and state president Nainar Nagendran joining the deliberations.

Former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, BJP Mahila Morcha chief and MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, Kushoo Sundar, along with state vice presidents Narayanan Thirupathy and Vinoj P. Selvam were also part of the discussions.
A number of senior leaders contributed to the consultations, underscoring the party’s focus on consolidating its organisational strength and preparing the groundwork for the 2026 electoral battle in Tamil Nadu.
